Draft for the beta. Torio’s operator and a contact address have not been confirmed yet, so parts of this page are placeholders. They will be completed before public launch, and anyone who agreed to this version will be asked to review the final text.
- Operator
- To be confirmed before public launch
- Contact for privacy and support requests
- To be confirmed before public launch
What Torio collects
- Account details: your email address and sign-in records.
- Profiles: what you add to your network or guard profile, such as your name, headline, city, state, skills, work history and photo.
- Hiring details: work preferences, availability, résumés, credentials and documents you upload, and the invitations you send or answer.
- License review evidence: identity details and photos you submit for a license check, which only assigned Torio reviewers can open.
- Waitlist sign-ups: your email, state and license type, with your consent.
Who can see it
Owners and recruiters at approved companies can see the profile, work history and résumé of guards who match their published jobs, before the guard responds. Information in a résumé cannot be selectively hidden, so leave out anything you do not want to share at that stage. Contact details and private documents are shared only when you allow it for a specific invitation, and you can withdraw document access at any time. A file someone already downloaded cannot be recalled.
Network profiles follow the visibility you choose: signed-in members, your connections only, or only you.
What a review means
Reviewed credentials and self-reported documents are labelled differently. A license review records a source, date and result. It does not verify employment history or suitability for a job.
Your choices
- Edit or hide your profile and photo at any time.
- Delete your account on the web or in the app. Deletion starts after a short waiting period, during which you can cancel.
- Ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time.
To ask for a copy of your information, a correction or deletion, contact Torio. A contact address will be published here before public launch. Until then, use the options in your account.
Retention
Torio keeps your information while your account is active. Retention periods after deletion will be published here before public launch. Until then, avoid uploading identity documents you are not ready to share.
